Does anyone want to do the VO2 max and LT testing next Saturday, April 19th?? So far, Kris, Ryan and I are in; well I think Ryan is in. You guys are welcome to come by and check it out/watch us go through the painful testing :) Kris rides at 2:30 and I am scheduled at 3:30 so far.

Its much better if you do it as a group, so he doesn't have to setup a special session for one person or a small group. It would be good to do this in the early season (now) and late season to see if you grow from training. This is Bruce Jayne, right? What do we need to do to setup a session, Kevin?

Hell yeah they do! I was there a few weeks ago when OB's junior team was tested. I plan on getting tested during his next available session which is supposed to be sometime in mid Feb. Heart rate, VO2 max, LT and he can test for riding position vs power. Who else is in?

Did you guys know that the UC Physics department has a cycling testing lab and many of the clubs use it, but it has yet to be available to the UC Cycle Club?

Strong race at Newport Brian. I think if you guys would have not gotten mixed back up in the lapped riders you would have taken the race. It's tough to mark the leaders when suddenly they have allies to hide them after having to solo nearly the entire race.
